Tourism businesses across the North Coast of New South Wales are invited to enter the 2026 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards, with nominations now open. Delivered for the second year through a partnership between Destination North Coast and the NSW Tourism Association, the program recognises excellence, innovation and resilience across the region’s visitor economy.
Entries are open across 19 categories and provide a pathway for regional winners to progress to the NSW Tourism Awards and potentially the national stage at the Australian Tourism Awards. A new category for 2026, Outstanding Contribution to Regional Tourism, will recognise an individual whose work has made a lasting impact on the North Coast tourism sector.
The awards program includes an entrant support framework featuring webinars, question and answer sessions with judges and submission feedback. The initiative is designed to help businesses strengthen their entries while encouraging reflection across areas such as sustainability, marketing and customer experience.
The awards will conclude with a gala event on 30 July at Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour. Nominations close on 2 April.
