Celebrity River Cruises has unveiled a new program of multi-day ‘Before and After Stays’ in Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam and Lausanne.
This gives guests the chance to extend their European river cruise with locally led, immersive city experiences.
“Our Before and After Stays are more than an extension of a Celebrity River Cruises holiday. These stays are designed to deepen connection to the cities, to the people who bring them to life, and to each other, leaving guests with the kind of stories and feelings that only come from truly getting close to a place,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, Celebrity Cruises President.
Each two- or three-night stay includes one locally led Discovery Collection tour per day, with guests choosing from at least three themed options covering history, food, art or neighbourhood exploration.
In Amsterdam, a contemporary artist leads guests through the city’s street art scene, ending with guests co-creating a piece on the wall themselves.
In Prague, options range from following the trail of medieval alchemists through Gothic spires to tracing centuries of Czech beer heritage through historic taverns.
Every stay includes premium or ultra-premium hotel accommodation, daily breakfast and ship transfers, with all logistics handled in advance so guests can simply enjoy the experience.
The 2027 program covers Prague and Budapest, with Amsterdam and Lausanne added for 2028. Celebrity River Cruises operates 33 sailings in 2027 and 160 sailings in 2028 along the Rhine and Danube.
