Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has unveiled a raft of new itineraries for its 2027/28 season across its five luxury and expedition ships.
Premiere routes include a first-ever winter season in the Indian Ocean, the only cruise combining all five Great Lakes with the St Lawrence River and a new Kimberley expedition departing Darwin.
Flagship Europa will debut a 29-day voyage from Valparaiso to San Francisco in February 2027, linking South, Central and North America across eight countries with a dramatic arrival beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. It is priced from €12,792 per person.
In 2028, the ship will offer its first in-depth Philippines exploration across two consecutive cruises with 13 calls at 10 ports including a premiere visit to Mantigue Island.
Europa 2 introduces a South Pacific itinerary visiting Papua New Guinea and Palau for the first time, alongside new Costa Rica Pacific coast sailings with first-time calls at Isla Tortuga and Puerto Jiménez.
On the expedition side, Hanseatic nature will spend the 2027/28 winter season in the Indian Ocean exploring Madagascar, the Seychelles and Mauritius, with its shallow draft allowing access to remote islands and protected atolls.
Roundtrip from Mauritius to the Seychelles, the 12 night cruise is priced from €7,970 per person.
Hanseatic inspiration will become the only cruise ship to combine all five Great Lakes with the St Lawrence River on a single voyage in summer 2027, sailing 21 nights from Halifax to Milwaukee from €15,490 per person.
Three new 14-day South Georgia and Antarctic Peninsula voyages in early 2028 round out the expedition program.
For Australians, Hanseatic spirit debuts an 18-night Kimberley expedition roundtrip from Darwin in May 2028, exploring sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, Indigenous rock art and abundant wildlife from €13,240 per person.
