Envoyage is backing travel agents to build successful businesses on their own terms, with personalised support, industry connections and new technology helping members thrive.

The network was named ‘Most Outstanding Mobile Advisor Network’ and ‘Most Outstanding Travel Agency Network’ at the recent National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA).

Reflecting on the double win, the company says it reflects the strength and diversity of its members and the support available to help them grow.

“Winning in both the mobile advisor and travel agency categories tells us the model works equally for different kinds of businesses, regardless of where they are on their entrepreneurial journey,” said Astrid Richardson, Global General Manager of Envoyage.

“Members choose how and what they want to build and we make sure the right support and tools are there whichever path they take.”

The awards also highlighted the achievements of four Envoyage members who were finalists in individual categories, with each pointing to the value of being part of a connected network.

Claire Martino, a finalist for ‘Most Outstanding Mobile / Home-Based Travel Advisor’, said the accessibility of the support team helped her feel connected rather than isolated while running her business.

“The entire Envoyage support team are brilliant and so accessible,” Ms Martino said. “I don’t feel isolated at all. I feel seen, I feel heard.”

For Chanel Loxton of Loxton Travel, also a finalist in the category, the network has provided support from start-up through to operating a full mobile agency.

“Envoyage offers a complete package, from systems and backend support to guidance from leadership industry mentors with years of experience growing a travel business,” Ms Loxton said.

“Everything is simplified, leaving more time for me to do the things I love.”

Veronica Ciccarone of Envoyage Rockingham, a finalist for ‘Most Outstanding Travel Consultant (Leisure)’, said the relationships formed through the network were just as important as its business resources.

“Being part of Envoyage means being surrounded by people who share my passion for travel and genuinely want to see each other succeed. It’s about connections and support,” Ms Ciccarone said.

Paul Kelly, Founder and CEO of SportsLink Travel and a finalist for ‘Most Outstanding Specialist Travel Management Company’, said the network had created opportunities to collaborate and learn from fellow agents.

“It has given us a platform to connect with others, meet, collaborate, share ideas, discuss opportunities and learn from each other,” Mr Kelly said.

Envoyage is building on the awards momentum with further investment in resources designed to help members develop their businesses.

New marketing and product tools are being introduced, while its recently launched creator community is generating conversation among members. A new ticketing platform is also in the pipeline.

Ms Richardson said the focus remained on giving travel businesses the flexibility and resources to achieve their ambitions.

“We remain committed to investing in a truly unparalleled global travel ecosystem,” she added.

“Our priority is to keep delivering a positive impact for our members, giving them the freedom and choice they need to thrive.”
