The local iteration of this global roadshow series will take place in Perth (July 29), Adelaide (July 30) and the Gold Coast (July 31).
As part of the event, Brand USA will present a panel discussion – ‘Beyond the Map: A deep drive into the USA’s iconic highways and backroad adventures’.
“This roadshow series will bring together 20 U.S. destination and product partners to help travel agents gain deeper destination knowledge, while giving them practical tools to sell self-drive holidays across the USA,” said Suzy Shepard, Brand USA’s Senior Director, Global Trade Development (APAC).
“Beyond the Map will offer valuable insights into the depth and variety of experiences that make road tripping across the USA so rewarding.”
‘Beyond the Map’ will be moderated by Brand USA, and will feature representatives from the Arizona Office of Tourism, Visit California, Travel Oregon and the New York State Division of Tourism, who will explore the rich tapestry of the country’s landscapes, history and culture.
Panellists will share the advantages of driving the USA’s iconic highways and byways, uncover hidden gems best explored by road and unpack the cultural significance of road travel in the USA.
The roadshow events will offer travel agents an opportunity to discover the diversity and accessibility of self-drive holidays across the USA, while also building their skills in planning, selling and booking these experiences.
