A record 1,720 peer nominations have been received for this year NTIAs as the popularity of the awards continues to grow.

The year’s NTIA features a refined list of 36 categories providing more opportunities than ever before to shine a spotlight on exceptional individuals, teams and businesses.

Winners will be announced at the NTIA Gala at The Star Brisbane on October 18, following the Beyond Borders Summit the day before which will bring together cross-industry learning and networking opportunities.

For the popularly elected categories voting will open at 12noon AEST on July 21 and close at 5pm AEST August 8. The top five voted companies in each category will be announced as finalists in mid-August.

Finalists for the judged categories will be also announced in mid-August.

“We’re thrilled to announce the NTIA Nominees for this year’s awards after receiving a record number of submissions,” said Dean Long, ATIA CEO.

“For the popularly elected categories, we are officially kicking off the voting process in what is a fantastic opportunity for the Industry to recognise the professionals and businesses delivering outstanding service and innovation.

“We encourage everyone in the travel industry to get involved and cast their vote – your say helps shape the future of excellence in Australian travel.”

“I’d like to congratulate all of our nominees! Your hard work and dedication to the industry are what makes these awards so meaningful.”
