Oceania Cruises has unveiled the inaugural sailings for its newest ship Oceania Aurelia, including two epic 180-day Around the World voyages for 2028 and 2029.

Jason Montague, Oceania Cruises Chief Luxury Officer, said launching two world cruises simultaneously was a true milestone for the line.

“These incredible itineraries will pique the interests of curious travelers who want to explore the world in elegant comfort with the chance to enjoy more time ashore and experience well-loved and new favourite destinations in depth,” Mr Montague said.

Oceania Aurelia debuts in late November 2027, hosting fewer than 500 guests and served by 400 officers and crew.

The 2028 Around the World voyage departs Miami on January 18, 2028, beginning with the ship’s christening ceremony before sailing through the Panama Canal, across the Pacific to Hawaii and French Polynesia.

The ship then arrives in Australia and includes an overnight in Sydney before heading to Southeast Asia, Japan, India and the Mediterranean before concluding in New York.

The 2029 Around the World voyage departs Los Angeles on January 6, tracing the Pacific coast of the Americas to Easter Island, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, the Mediterranean and the British Isles before a transatlantic crossing to New York.

Both voyages include overnight stays in destinations including Sydney, Bora Bora, Bali, Tokyo, Singapore and Mumbai, access to nearly 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites and mid-cruise overland programmes to Machu Picchu, Petra and the Taj Mahal.

Two Grand Voyages of more than 70 days are also available, including a 78-day Nordic and Baltic Discovery from New York departing July 18, 2028 and a 71-day South America Adventure from Miami departing October 27, 2028, including the Antarctic Peninsula.

Guests on either Around the World voyage automatically receive Gold level Oceania Club status from embarkation.
