A new codeshare partnership will give Qatar Airways passengers greater access to destinations across Canada through connections with WestJet from Toronto and Montreal.
Under the agreement, Qatar will add its QR code to selected WestJet services, allowing passengers to connect onwards to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa, Regina, Saskatoon, St Johns and Winnipeg.
WestJet passengers will also gain access to Qatar Airways’ international network through Doha, with onward connections to more than 170 destinations including New Delhi, Nairobi, Singapore and Jeddah.
The partnership follows an increase in Qatar’s Canadian frequencies from October 25, with Toronto and Montreal now each served daily, taking the airline’s Canadian schedule from 12 to 14 weekly flights.
