Cruiseabout has relaunched its Business Ownership Scheme (BOS), giving eligible Team Leaders the opportunity to buy into the stores they run and share directly in their success.

The invitation-only scheme is reserved for Team Leaders who have demonstrated the leadership, performance and character to run their store as a genuine owner.

Participants receive a direct share of their store’s profit, a seat on an exclusive Owners Advisory Board and public recognition across the Cruiseabout network.

Brad Kennedy, Cruiseabout General Manager, said the relaunch was a natural extension of the brand’s values.

“The scheme is rooted in a founding principle of FCTG — that people who feel genuine ownership of their business outperform and outlast all others and we want to bring this opportunity to our Cruiseabout team leaders,” he said.

“The timing is deliberate. Australia’s cruise market continues to grow and Cruiseabout is scaling to meet demand, making the ability to attract and retain exceptional people more critical than ever.”

Kate Moulton, Cruiseabout North Lakes Team Leader, and Christina D’Agostino, Cruiseabout Whitford Team Leader, were the first two leaders to enter the scheme.

“I now feel like a valued business partner, having skin in the game has been incredibly empowering,” said Ms Moulton.

Ms D’Agostino said backing herself was something she was incredibly proud of. “Having been there from day one, building the store with such a wonderful team and seeing the success it continues to achieve has been so rewarding,” she said.

Since re-emerging from hibernation in 2024, Cruiseabout has expanded its retail network and grown its team of cruise specialists.
