AIRCALIN has launched a winter sale on flights to New Caledonia, with return fares from Brisbane from $589 and from Sydney from $599, available to book until July 24.

Just over two hours from Brisbane and under three hours from Sydney on direct services, New Caledonia offers crystal-clear lagoons, unique wildlife and French-inspired cuisine without the long-haul travel.

All fares include checked luggage of one piece up to 23kg, a meal and beverage service and inflight entertainment.

Sydney to Noumea travel dates include July 21 to September 23, October 13 to December 9 and February 16 to April 30, 2027.

Brisbane to Noumea travel dates include July 18 to September 16, October 7 to December 9 and February 16 to April 30, 2027.

The airline has also reached another major milestone in strengthening its long-haul fleet.

The first of its two Airbus A350-900s has entered the final assembly line at Airbus’ Toulouse-Blagnac site in France. In a highly visible and symbolic first, its vertical tail already carries AIRCALIN’s new livery, featuring the new hibiscus flower, the airline’s emblem.

“The delivery of our first Airbus A350-900 next December marks a historic moment for Aircalin and a tremendous opportunity for New Caledonia,” said Georges Selefen, CEO and Chariman of the Board AIRCALIN.

“Now recognized as the global benchmark for long-haul air travel, the A350 is one of the most sought-after aircraft among airlines. Its reliability, performance, fuel efficiency and passenger comfort make it an exceptional aircraft.

“More than an investment in a modern, high-performing fleet, the A350 is an investment in the future of New Caledonia, in its openness to the world, its attractiveness and its economic development.”
