A: Joining the Luxury Travel Collection expands on our extensive knowledge of tailored travel solutions, offering our clients a larger pool of resources to draw from.
Our clients are our extended family and as the branches of our family tree grow so too do their dreams and expectations.
Q: What were the deciding factors that made you pick LTC?
First and foremost, my personal background in Flight Centre and the talent pool that LTC has drawn upon made it a natural and easy choice.
I believe it will also give us an excellent opportunity to expand our current global supply chain.
Partnering and networking with LTC associates at spectacular soirees around the world and attending staff and client showcases will also help build supplier relationships.
Q: How do you think the travel industry is looking – and particularly the luxury segment – as we end another year?
A: Another golden era of travel has arrived! Let’s be frank, our clientele have endured world shutdown and do not have a moment to waste!
Global advertising campaigns are working. Luxury travel options now dominate the market giving an insight into a world where curiosity and personalised service far outweigh former budget constraints.
Q: What are some of the major challenges facing travel agents and the industry going forward?
A: With challenge comes opportunity. There was a time when the humble travel agent was surely to be replaced by the internet and the self-service that this afforded.
Now we face an AI revolution putting us on notice to up our game. Let me tell you, AI does not give hugs!
Challenges, yes, but opportunity exists for us to learn and embrace industry advancements once again to enhance our offering to the client base.
In my opinion, the greater the information available to our clients broadens our scope to provide architectural itineraries with the personal flavour.
Q: What is it about the travel industry that you love so much and that keeps you motivated?
A: Providing first hand experiences for multi-generational, travel curious individuals, couples, families and groups. We love it big and small, tailoring client budgets to experiences they most desire.
Our difference? We give our best service, all of the time. There is no off day – care and connectivity create an experience where clients become family.

Q: What plans do you have for the future of your business?
A: I would like to lend my advice to the current and future generations of our industry, grow our little business, be more productive, maintain a quality work life balance and continue to follow the road less travelled.
