Cruiseabout has recorded a 94 per cent employee satisfaction score in its annual Great Place to Work survey, the highest result of any business unit across Flight Centre Travel Group and well above the national certification benchmark.

Brad Kennedy, Cruiseabout General Manager, said the result was no accident.

“You can’t fake a 94 per cent culture score. It’s the result of deliberately building something people genuinely want to be part of and then backing that up with experiences that bring the team together,” Mr Kennedy said.

The score caps a memorable six weeks for the brand, which held two back-to-back leadership conferences aboard cruise ships.

The Team Leader conference took place aboard Voyager of the Seas with Royal Caribbean International, while the Assistant Team Leader conference followed aboard Crown Princess with Princess Cruises.

Kelly Neri, Cruiseabout Head of Operations, said the format captured something important about where the brand was headed.

“We have amazing people in Cruiseabout and time together as a group is something I am always grateful for,” Ms Neri said.

With momentum building and the retail network expanding, Cruiseabout is now seeking its next generation of leaders.

The brand is recruiting store leaders in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, a leader for its new home-based sales team and experienced travel advisors across existing stores.

Leaders who join Cruiseabout have the opportunity to participate in Flight Centre Travel Group’s Business Ownership Scheme by investing in the business they build.
