Inspiring Vacations has unveiled a new collection of women only small group tours, partnering with female led businesses and storytellers across Asia to create culturally immersive and community focused travel experiences.
Launched under the Inspired Women banner, the new itineraries are designed exclusively for women and are led by female tour leaders. The range combines classic sightseeing with meaningful local encounters that highlight the lives, achievements and perspectives of women in each destination.
The tours span India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Japan and South Korea, with each itinerary incorporating experiences that support female first enterprises and initiatives. Travellers will meet local women entrepreneurs, artisans and community leaders, while also enjoying signature destination highlights.
Peita Davis, Head of Global Product at Inspiring Vacations, said the range was created to foster connection and inspiration through travel.
“Our Inspired Women range is curated to showcase inspirational women around the globe and inspire our female travellers to engage with the global community. Each journey is thoughtfully guided by female tour leaders and combines must see highlights with authentic local encounters that reveal the lives and stories of women around the world,” Davis said.
The Inspired Women tours are built around themes of wellness, culture and connection. Inclusions across the range typically feature daily breakfast and select additional meals including welcome and farewell dinners, hotel accommodation, in depth sightseeing, select transportation and a small group size capped between 16 and 20 travellers depending on destination. Many itineraries also include airport transfers and traditional accommodation experiences such as Japanese ryokans or Korean hanoks.
Paul Ryan, CEO and Co founder of Inspiring Vacations, said the new range responds directly to customer demand.
“I’m thrilled to be part of yet another exciting new range thoughtfully designed for our valued female customers. To further encourage connection between travellers, each Inspired Women tour also offers paired solo options, which is a popular choice for many of our customers and often cited as a great way of forging lasting friendships,” Ryan said.
“The Inspired Women range was created in response to customer feedback and demand, and each tour is a great way to dive deeper into the destination while building a kinship with like minded travellers.”
Highlights across the collection include a 13 day women only journey through Japan and South Korea, featuring a pottery class in Kyoto, a meeting with a Hiroshima survivor, an Obanzai style home cooking experience, encounters with South Korea’s famous Haenyeo female divers and a meeting with a North Korean defector at the DMZ.
In Sri Lanka, the 14 day itinerary includes visits to a cinnamon product centre and fair trade handloom businesses, a mask making workshop, a Galle tuk tuk tour, yoga sessions and an Ayurvedic massage.
