The network compiles its top 30 based on members’ support for its preferred suppliers, with winners receiving Gold, Silver or Bronze Choice Awards, along with invitations to take part in an exclusive Choice Reward Trip.

This year’s Choice Award recipients – announced during the Travellers Choice conference in Melbourne – have a choice of three journeys:

  • a six-night journey around East Africa (departing February), with a visit to Zanzibar and a safari in Masai Mara, courtesy of The Africa Safari Co. and led by the company’s Chief Executive Susie Potter
  • a six-night exploration of Iceland’s unique landscapes, vibrant culture and the Northern Lights as guests of Collette
  • a six-night Norwegian Cruise Line voyage from Seattle to Alaska on Norwegian Bliss, taking in Sitka, Juneau and the Dawes Glacier.

Travellers Choice also presented its coveted Leading Agency Award, which honours a member who has achieved outstanding business success and consistently contributed to the group’s overall performance.

This year’s award was won by South Australia’s Tailor Made Travel Mt Gambier.

Manager Leah Mullen, who has worked in the agency since it was established in 2001 and acquired the business in 2013, accepted the award, along with a $2,500 Winner’s Grant, which can be used towards any Travellers Choice service or event.

This year saw the launch of a new Rookie of the Year award, which recognised a high-performing, new-to-industry consultant who graduated from the inaugural ProStart training program.

The award went to Windsong Travel’s Charlotte Marshall, who took home a seven-day Inca Trail Express Tour from Intrepid Travel Australia valued at $1,000 and a $2,000 airfare credit from Travellers Choice.

For the first time since 2019, Travellers Choice also presented Encouragement Awards to five members: Kingscote Travel (South Australia), Travel Masterpiece (Queensland), Travel 195 (NSW), Devonport Travel and Cruise (Tasmania) and Villa Holiday Your Way (Western Australia).  Each recipient received a $500 Winner’s Grant.

Encouragement Award winners are determined by members’ percentage growth in sales support for Travellers Choice preferred suppliers.
