PassportCard Australia has been accepted into Virtuoso’s travel network as a regional partner serving the group’s member agencies and travel advisors in Australia.
The partnership provides new opportunities to connect with advisors specialising in luxury and experiential travel, while expanding PassportCard’s presence within the premium travel sector.
As a regional partner, PassportCard will work with Virtuoso’s 61 member agencies across Australia, providing travel insurance solutions that support advisors and their high-value clientele.
The partnership comes as demand for premium and experiential travel continues to grow, with travellers increasingly seeking greater confidence, flexibility and support throughout their journeys.
Virtuoso connects the world’s most respected travel advisors with a carefully curated portfolio of luxury hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, destinations and travel brands.
Virtuoso agencies worldwide sell an average of $US35 billion annually, making the network the most significant player in luxury travel.
Peter Klemt, PassportCard Australia CEO, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to delivering an exceptional travel insurance experience that aligns with the expectations of today’s luxury traveller.
“Being selected as a regional partner within Virtuoso is a significant endorsement of the service experience we’ve built for Australian travellers and the travel advisor community.
“Virtuoso advisors represent some of the most discerning travellers in the world and their clients expect fast, reliable support when travel doesn’t go to plan.
“Our focus has always been on delivering practical, real-time assistance when it matters most. Whether that’s through our Sydney-based customer service team, 24/7 emergency assistance or instant claims technology, we’re committed to helping travellers resolve issues quickly so they can continue their trip with confidence.”
“Travel advisors are having more nuanced conversations with clients than ever before about preparedness, flexibility and navigating the unexpected while travelling,” said Kara Glamore, General Manager, Australia and New Zealand, Virtuoso.
“As those expectations continue to evolve, it’s important that our advisors have access to partners who can help support every stage of the journey.
“PassportCard brings a fresh approach to travel insurance, and we’re pleased to welcome them as a regional partner for Australia.”
The announcement follows a period of significant milestones for PassportCard Australia, which has become one of the country’s most recognised travel insurance providers.
The company was named the most awarded travel insurance brand in 2025 and most recently received WeMoney’s 2026 ‘Outstanding Claims Experience Award’.
