National Geographic Signature with G Adventures has added 17 new itineraries to its premium travel collection, bringing the total to 49 trips across 44 destinations worldwide.
Sean Martin, G Adventures Managing Director, said the collection had proved to be the company’s most successful launch to date.
“We are seeing a large percentage of repeat customers booking these trips, which is a testament to our and National Geographic’s brand reputations. We’re also seeing a wide age range among bookings, from 20-somethings to 80-somethings, proving that exploration, learning and adventure know no age boundaries,” Mr Martin said.
The expanded collection moves into new terrain across Spain, Bhutan and the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include ‘Bhutan and the High Himalayan Valleys’, an eight-day journey through the Land of the Thunder Dragon featuring private audiences with governance insiders and encounters with local artisans and monks.
Turkey’s ‘Istanbul, Ephesus and Cappadocia’ is a 10-day expedition through millennia of empire and culture, while Northern Spain’s ‘Ancient Caves, Basque Coast and La Rioja’ traces prehistoric creativity through avant-garde architecture and vineyards over eight days.
Each trip is led by National Geographic Expedition Leaders and supported by Expedition Experts across fields including photography, biology, geology, archaeology and conservation.
