Unforgettable Travel Company has appointed Erin Johnson as Group Marketing Director, with the newly created role taking effect from October 12.
Ms Johnson (above) will join the executive team and report to Graham Carter, Co-Founder of Unforgettable Travel Company.
She will lead global marketing across the group’s brands, including specialist luxury operator Unforgettable Croatia.
Her remit will cover both direct and travel trade channels, with a focus on strengthening brand positioning and supporting international growth across the company’s tailor made travel portfolio.
Ms Johnson brings more than 20 years of travel industry experience and joins from Specialist Holidays Group, where she is currently Group Chief Marketing Officer.
Her previous roles include more than five years as Marketing Director for Travelopia’s tailor made division, overseeing Sovereign Luxury Travel, Citalia Holidays and American Holidays, as well as three years with Silversea Cruises as Marketing Director for the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa.
Mr Carter said Ms Johnson’s experience across luxury travel, brand development and both direct and trade marketing would support the company’s next phase of growth.
“Her proven ability to position specialist brands, inspire high-value customers and turn strong storytelling into bookings will be invaluable as we continue to grow our brands internationally,” Mr Carter said.
Ms Johnson said she was looking forward to joining the business at an important stage of its expansion.
