A new 122-room accommodation property will open in Epping on November 2, adding studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom options to Melbourne’s rapidly growing northern corridor.
Oakwood Epping Melbourne will become the brand’s second Australian property, joining Oakwood Premier Melbourne, with Oakwood Premier Adelaide scheduled to open in late 2027.
The new property has been designed for both short and extended stays, with kitchenettes across all room types, private balconies in deluxe studios and selected apartments, and accessible and interconnecting options available.
Facilities will include onsite food and beverage, secure parking, a gym, washer-dryers and an upper-level alfresco terrace with barbecue facilities.
Located on Cooper Street, the property is near Northern Hospital Epping, Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, Melbourne Market and surrounding commercial and industrial precincts, with access to the M80 Ring Road.
David Mansfield, Managing Director of The Ascott Limited Australasia, said the opening responded to growing demand for longer-stay accommodation in Melbourne’s north.
“We’ve designed Oakwood Epping Melbourne around how those guests actually live: space to cook, room to work and the comfort to settle in for a longer stay,” Mr Mansfield said.
