Atura Oran Park has officially opened, adding a new hotel and event venue to South Western Sydney just days after Western Sydney International Airport began operations.

Developed by EVT Hotels & Resorts and the Perich family, the 184-room property sits in the Oran Park Podium precinct. It is about 20 minutes from the airport and 60 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.

The hotel’s design draws on Oran Park’s motorsport history. A sculptural artwork by Indonesian artist Ichwan Noor reimagines Peter Brock’s Holden Torana A9X as a cube, while a lobby installation by Sydney artist George Buchanan uses thousands of donated toy vehicles to depict the Nepean River at sunset.

Racing-inspired details also appear in the hotel’s carpets, wall art and guest rooms.

Accommodation ranges from king and twin rooms to accessible rooms and larger suites.

Some rooms have balconies or pool views, while selected suites include kitchenettes and washing machines for longer stays. Interconnecting rooms are available for families and groups.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar, Tavola, serves modern Italian dishes, including wood-fired pizzas, blue swimmer crab linguine and Riverina Black Angus rib eye. Guests can also use the heated outdoor pool and terrace, which is open year-round.

Seven event spaces cater for meetings, conferences, weddings and community events, with capacity for groups of up to 500. The venues include Pit Stop, a private dining room and boardroom for up to 15, and The Grandstand, a pillarless event space.

Atura Oran Park is the fifth Australian hotel under the Atura brand, joining properties in Blacktown, Albury, Dandenong and Adelaide Airport.

An opening offer includes breakfast for stays before the end of January 2027. Further details are available through the hotel’s website.

Atura Oran Park is at 135 Podium Way, Oran Park, NSW.
