Travel professionals will gather in Sydney next month for the Australian Expedition Summit 2026, a free half-day conference focused on the future of expedition cruising.

The trade-only event will take place at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont on November 13, with this year’s program centred on Understanding Polar Codes and Choosing Expedition Destinations.

Sessions will examine regulatory, operational and strategic considerations influencing expedition travel, alongside networking opportunities and breakout discussions with Aqua Expeditions and PONANT.

Francesco Galli Zugaro, Founder and CEO of Aqua Expeditions (main image), will headline the speaker line-up. He will be joined by Annabelle Brown, Ponant State Manager, and Peter Kollar, CLIA Head of International Training & Development. Benjamin Garcia, Aqua Expeditions Director of Sales APAC, will serve as MC.

The summit will run from 8.30am to 2.30pm (AEDT), with breakfast and registration on arrival.

Attendance is free for travel industry professionals, with places limited to 50 participants.
