Princess Cruises is preparing to open sales for its expansive 2028 Alaska season featuring 185 departures across 14 itineraries aboard eight ships.
Sales will open on August 11 for the 2028 Alaska season with sailings ranging from four- to 16 days, with departures from Seattle, Vancouver, Whittier, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The fleet includes Star Princess and seven other ships, with calls at 16 destinations including Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. The company, which has sailed in Alaska since 1969, has scheduled 86 visits to Glacier Bay National Park.
Glacier And Inside Passage Voyages
‘Voyage of the Glaciers’ sailings will link Whittier and Vancouver, calling at ports including Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.
Many itineraries include two glacier viewing experiences at Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord or Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
‘Round trip Inside Passage’ cruises will depart from Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Selected ports will also feature later evening departures, giving guests more time ashore for cultural activities, wildlife encounters and outdoor experiences.
Cruisetours Extend The Journey Inland
Cruisetours will combine sea journeys with stays at Princess Wilderness Lodges near Denali, Kenai Fjords and Wrangell St Elias national parks.
Selected itineraries visit up to four national parks, supported by glass domed rail travel between Whittier and Denali.
On board and shore activities include local dining experiences, cultural presentations, whale watching, the White Pass Railway and wildlife cruises in Kenai Fjords National Park.
Three cruisetour collections will be offered: Denali Essentials, Denali Explorer and Denali Escorted.
