Travellers can use their hotel loyalty points to support emergency flood relief efforts in Nepal, with donations being converted into financial contributions for humanitarian assistance.
ALL Accor members can donate from 500 Reward points, equivalent to €10, through a dedicated campaign supporting Humanity & Inclusion’s response in affected communities.
Funds raised will help provide food and hygiene kits, water containers, tents and other essential supplies. Donations will also support people with disabilities or injuries through mobility aids, prosthetics, rehabilitation and psychosocial assistance.
Humanity & Inclusion has worked in Nepal for more than 25 years and has deployed specialist teams to assist hospitals and communities following the flooding, with particular attention to injured people, people with disabilities, older residents and other vulnerable groups.
Adrian Williams, Accor Chief Operating Officer Pacific, said the initiative gave loyalty members a direct way to contribute to the emergency response.
“The scale of need in Nepal calls for a rapid and collective response,” Mr Williams said. “Through ALL Accor and Dift, our members can use their Reward points to support Humanity & Inclusion’s essential work on the ground.”
Members can contribute by logging into the campaign through their ALL Accor account, selecting the number of Reward points they wish to donate and authorising the transaction.
The minimum donation is 500 points, with members able to contribute more depending on their available balance.
The donation option is available to individual ALL Accor members and is subject to the applicable loyalty program and Dift terms and conditions.
