Vietjet has launched a new Hanoi to Tainan service and resumed direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Chiang Mai, with both routes operating four return services each week.
The expansion coincides with a limited-time fare offer for Australian travellers, with one-way Eco fares to Vietnam from $199 including taxes and fees.
The promotion applies to eligible flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth for travel from November 1 to October 31, 2027. Bookings are available until 3am (AEDT) on November 2, subject to availability and blackout dates.
The new services add to Vietjet’s expanding international network, which also includes connections from Vietnam to destinations such as the Maldives, Cebu, Clark, Almaty and Prague.
Vietjet is also preparing to launch flights between Western Sydney International Airport and Ho Chi Minh City from January 10, 2027, further increasing connectivity between Australia and Vietnam.
