Railbookers is inviting travel agents to experience its rail holidays firsthand on small-group familiarisation trips accompanied by the company’s Rail Experts.
Across 10 itineraries throughout 2027, agents will explore top-selling Railbookers destinations and routes while building the knowledge and confidence to recommend them to clients.
“Travel agents are essential partners in helping their clients discover the possibilities of a rail vacation,” said Jim Marini, SVP of Strategic Partnerships at Railbookers.
“Our 2027 itineraries, the largest launch of rail familiarisation trips ever, give them a chance to experience a journey alongside our Rail Experts, asking questions, hearing our team’s insights and seeing what makes each destination special.
“That firsthand perspective helps them bring the trip to life for clients.”
Applications are now open for agents to join one of the following trips:
- Switzerland’s Famous Trains — June and September
- Rome, Florence, and Venice — April and November
- Edinburgh, London, and Paris — May
- Anchorage, Seward, Denali and Fairbanks — June
- Prague, Vienna, and Budapest — September
- Canadian Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer — October
- Tokyo, Hakone, and Kyoto — October
- Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona — November
Once selected, travel agents will secure their spot with a $US499 (approx. $AU700) participation fee, which includes all rail and single-occupancy hotel accommodations along with sightseeing activities and select meals.
Airfare is not included and is the responsibility of the travel agent.
These trips are being added in addition to Railbookers’ ever-popular independent travel advisor familiarisation trips, which remain available in 2027 and beyond.
That program offers a 20% discount to agents traveling on any Railbookers or Amtrak Vacations itinerary across the world.
