A new 12-night small-group journey from QXP India combines Hyderabad, Hampi, Rajasthan and Delhi, with a Diwali celebration inside Nagaur’s historic Ahhichatragarh Fort forming the centrepiece of the itinerary.
Departing Hyderabad on October 23, 2027, ‘Ruins to Royalty’ will travel through Hampi before continuing north to Jodhpur, Nagaur, Jaipur and Delhi.
Two private charter flights, from Hyderabad to Hampi and Hampi to Jodhpur, have been arranged to reduce travel time between regions.
The October 29 Diwali celebration will take place at Ranvas, the restored 18th-century queens’ quarters within Ahhichatragarh Fort, with cocktails, dinner and fireworks planned for the evening.

Accommodation includes Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, Evolve Back Kamalapura Palace in Hampi, RAAS Jodhpur, Ranvas Nagaur, Rambagh Palace in Jaipur and The Leela Palace New Delhi.
Experiences across the journey include a historian-led tour of Falaknuma Palace, time with the Kishkinda Trust near Hampi, dinner in the Blue Room at Jaipur’s City Palace and an introduction to kabootar baazi, the traditional practice of pigeon flying, from a rooftop in Old Delhi.
An English-speaking tour escort will accompany the group throughout the itinerary, with the departure requiring a minimum of 12 guests.
Pricing starts from approximately $32,650 per person twin share or $40,940 for single occupancy, with the group to be confirmed by June 20, 2027.
