Travel advisors can now book selected Swiss scenic rail journeys for 2027, including Glacier Express Excellence Class and the Bernina Express, with reservations available up to 12 months in advance.
International Rail has opened its 2027 inventory as demand continues to build for premium Swiss rail experiences.
Glacier Express Excellence Class has just 20 guaranteed window seats per carriage, making early reservations particularly important during peak travel periods.
Jonathan Hume, International Rail Owner and Managing Director, said the limited capacity meant advisors should secure seats well ahead of travel.
“This luxury experience offers each passenger a window seat, five-star dining, onboard amenities and a personalised concierge,” Mr Hume said.
Bookings are also open across all classes on the Bernina Express, which travels along the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Rhaetian Railway through the Swiss Alps.
Advisors can also combine scenic rail journeys with the Swiss Travel Pass, covering travel across Switzerland’s rail, bus and boat network.
While the pass covers the Glacier Express and Bernina Express routes, panoramic seat reservations and applicable supplements remain additional.
A Swiss Hotel-to-Hotel luggage transfer service is also available, allowing travellers to send their luggage between accommodation while exploring the country by rail.
