Belle Goldie of The Cruise and Travel Store has been named the first recipient of a new industry mentoring scholarship, providing six months of one-on-one guidance from a senior travel industry leader.
The Envoyage Australia TIME Scholarship was announced at the group’s Summit in Cairns, with applications open to members and business owners.
The launch reflects Envoyage’s commitment to supporting opportunities that align with its values of entrepreneurialism, endurance and engagement.
By investing in the development of travel professionals, the company aims to foster resilience, encourage innovation and strengthen industry connections.
The TIME program is a natural fit, offering participants access to mentorship, learning and collaboration that can have a lasting impact on both their careers and the wider travel community.
Ms Goldie was selected for her involvement in industry events, supplier initiatives and the wider advisor community, alongside plans to grow her business sustainably.
During the program, Ms Goldie will focus on leading a growing team, strengthening business systems and improving profitability, while developing her own role as an industry leader and mentor.
“I’m genuinely grateful to Envoyage for backing me. Having a senior industry leader challenge my thinking as the business grows is exactly what I need right now,” Ms Goldie said.
“What I learn won’t stay with me. I’ll bring it back to the Envoyage community in ways other members can put straight to work.”
Lisa Zahra, Envoyage Director of Operations, said the scholarship was designed as an investment in members’ professional development.
“Belle is a generous voice in this community and we can’t wait to see what this six months unlocks for her and for everyone she shares it with,” Ms Zahra said.
Ms Goldie will share insights from the mentoring program with other members through future events and industry forums.
