If you’ve ever dreamed of sailing the Mediterranean while surrounded by artisanal gelato, bespoke chocolate bars and chocolate-infused cocktails, MSC World Asia has your number.

The new flagship, setting sail from December 4, will feature the largest Venchi chocolate experience ever seen at sea, a 300-square-metre destination on Deck 6 combining a chocolate boutique, café, gelateria and live chocolate-making lab. It is, quite simply, a chocoholic’s idea of heaven.

Guests can step into the chocolate lab to create their own custom bars using premium ingredients including Piedmont Hazelnut and Venchi’s iconic chocolate caviar, with digital tools for personalised designs.

Skilled Venchi chocolate experts work on-site, turning the whole affair into a live performance as delicious as the product.

The café and lounge serve Italian espresso and specialty beverages paired with Venchi chocolates, freshly made croissants and crêpes.

By evening, things take a sophisticated turn with chocolate-infused cocktails blending Venchi’s signature flavours with fine spirits.

And then there’s the gelato. Classic flavours including extra dark chocolate and gianduja hazelnut are joined by Crunchy Waves, an exclusive MSC Cruises creation with a creamy vanilla base, crunchy hazelnut biscuit and salted toffee pieces topped with a vivid blue spirulina layer evoking the Mediterranean’s shimmer.

The limited-edition Crunchy Waves gelato launches in selected Venchi stores worldwide from August 1 to 31, ahead of making its permanent home aboard MSC World Asia from December.
