Qantas has launched a major sale across its USA and Canada network.
The national carrier is offering discounted seats to seven popular destinations including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Honolulu and Vancouver.
The sale comes as Australians continue to travel internationally in record numbers, with more than 12.7 million short-term overseas trips taken in the 2025–26 financial year, an increase of almost four per cent on the year before.
The week-long sale includes seats on the airline’s world-first nonstop Sydney–Las Vegas service, which takes off on December 29 and saves customers up to five hours by removing the need to connect through another U.S. city.
Australia is Las Vegas’ second-largest overseas market, with more than 250,000 Australians visiting the city each year.
Economy return fares to Las Vegas start from $1,249 from Sydney, with travel available on select dates from January 19 to February 16, 2027.
“Las Vegas has been one of the most talked-about additions to our network in years and this sale gives customers the chance to lock in a seat on the only nonstop flight between Australia and the entertainment capital of the world,” said Cam Wallace, Qantas International CEO.
Economy return fares across the rest of the network start from $939 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Honolulu, for travel on select dates between October 2026 and June 2027.

# $1,049 from Sydney to Los Angeles, with travel dates available around Super Bowl LXI, being played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on February 14, 2027.
# $1,249 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to San Francisco.
# $1,459 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Vancouver, with travel dates available through the North American ski season to the end of March 2027.
# $1,549 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to New York, with travel dates available in the lead-up to Thanksgiving and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 26.
# $1,699 from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Dallas Fort Worth, the airline’s gateway to onward connections right across the United States with partner American Airlines.
Premium cabins are included across the sale, with premium economy fares from $2,549 return to Honolulu, business from $6,099 return to Honolulu and first class to Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth on sale for travel through to June 2027.
Sale fares are for various travel dates between October and June 2027 with select blackout periods and are now available until 11.59pm (AEST) September 14.
