Reservations have opened for a new 196-room hotel in Adelaide, with Crystalbrook Sam scheduled to welcome its first guests in late December.
Located on Halifax Street, the property will be Crystalbrook Collection’s first hotel in South Australia.
Accommodation will range from king and twin rooms to interconnecting family rooms and larger suites of up to 78-square-metres, with opening rates starting from $275 per night.
The hotel will also introduce Matines, a 120-seat rooftop bar and grill focused on South Australian produce, alongside Café Sami in the lobby.
Wellness facilities will include Eléme Day Spa, a heated outdoor pool, sauna and gym, while the property will also feature three meetings and events spaces with capacity for more than 100 guests.

Geoff York, Crystalbrook Collection Hotels & Resorts CEO, said the hotel had been designed to reflect Adelaide’s food, wine, art and cultural identity.
“Crystalbrook Sam represents an exciting new chapter for Crystalbrook as we bring our personality-forward and locally inspired hotels to South Australia,” Mr York said.
Kelvin Dodt, Crystalbrook Sam General Manager, said the hotel had been positioned to work both as a city base and as a place for guests to spend time without leaving the property.
“Guests can settle into Adelaide’s lifestyle without leaving the hotel, from spa afternoons and long lunches to a glass of wine downstairs or dinner with views across the city,” Mr Dodt said.
A locally focused art program will also feature works from South Australian sculptors and makers throughout the lobby, corridors, guest rooms, wellness and dining spaces.
To mark the opening, the ‘Sam’s Warm Welcome’ package is available for direct bookings made before December 17 for stays through August 2027.
It includes two welcome martinis, a signature snack, a finishing salt gift, $25 food and drink credit and noon late checkout.
