A new 100-room hotel is set to open in Parramatta in New South Wales in late 2028 as part of a major mixed use development in Western Sydney.

DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta will form part of Deicorp’s Cosmopolitan precinct in Hassall Street, which will also include 597 apartments along with retail, commercial and dining space.

The hotel will be operated by Trilogy Hotels under a management agreement with Deicorp, marking the third hotel precinct the two companies have worked on together.

Guest rooms will range from 20- to 45-square-metres, with facilities including an all-day dining restaurant and lounge, fitness and wellness areas and 667-square-metres of event space incorporating meeting rooms, a boardroom and pre-function areas.

Tushar Raniga, Hilton Australasia Director of Development, said Parramatta’s expanding commercial base and transport links made the location a strong fit for the brand.

“With Parramatta emerging as Sydney’s second central business district, supported by major infrastructure investment and a diverse demand base, this is a strong fit for DoubleTree by Hilton,” Mr Raniga said.

The hotel will sit beside a Parramatta light rail stop, with Parramatta railway station and wharf nearby. The future Sydney Metro connection, Parramatta Square, Westmead Health Precinct and Western Sydney University will also be within easy reach.

Designed by Turner Studio, the broader Cosmopolitan project will include two, 46-storey residential towers and a three-storey podium incorporating the hotel, retail, dining and commercial space.

Fouad Deiri OAM, Deicorp Founder, said the project reflected continued demand for hospitality development across Western Sydney.

“Parramatta has become one of Australia’s most important economic and residential growth regions,” said Mr Deiri.

Construction is already underway, with DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2028.
