Travel agents are invited to refresh their Tokyo knowledge with the Tokyo Tourism Expert e-learning program and win fantastic prizes.
The program has been refreshed and simplified for 2026, with clearer, easy-to-follow content and the latest Tokyo updates, helping agents build their knowledge and confidently recommend the city to their clients.
Updated content includes new attractions, accommodation and experiences, alongside practical information on Tokyo’s key neighbourhoods, transport, dining and tips for different types of travellers.
A new Tokyo Resources section has also been added, featuring practical planning tools, including sample itineraries, to help agents turn their Tokyo knowledge into client-ready recommendations.
Agents who complete all modules during the campaign period will go into the draw to win one of six prizes, including:
- Grand Prize – A trip to Tokyo for one lucky agent, including return flights with ANA and four nights’ accommodation with Far East Village Hotels – two nights at Far East Village Hotel Tokyo Ariake and two nights at Far East Village Hotel Tokyo Asakusa
- Luxury Tokyo Stay – Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo– a two-night stay for one winner
- Luxury Tokyo Stay – Palace Hotel Tokyo – a two-night stay for one winner
- Silver Prize – Secret Japan, signed by the author Jane Lawson.
Agents who have previously completed the Tokyo Tourism Expert program are also encouraged to return and refresh their knowledge with the latest 2026 updates.
By completing all modules again during the campaign period, they will also be eligible for the prize draw.
The Tokyo Tourism Expert 2026 campaign runs from September 8 to December 15 and is open to Australian travel agents.
