The Greek island of Mykonos is cementing its reputation as one of the Mediterranean’s leading destinations for luxury events, with the Myconian Collection unveiling an extensive event offering capable of hosting everything from intimate weddings to large-scale corporate gatherings.

The family-owned hotel group has developed what it describes as a “destination within a destination”, centred around seven luxury resorts clustered along Elia Beach. The collection includes the Imperial, Royal, Utopia, Avaton, Villa Collection and Panoptis Escape properties, providing event organisers with the flexibility to accommodate large groups while maintaining a tailored guest experience.

Additional properties across the island, including Deos overlooking Mykonos Town and the secluded Sunrise retreat at Agrari Beach, further expand the group’s event capabilities.

The portfolio boasts more than 750 accommodation units and 4,000 square metres of event space, with the capacity to host up to 2,500 guests simultaneously. Among its standout facilities is a 3,000sqm open-air venue linked directly to a 1,500sqm covered space at Royal Myconian, offering a weather-proof solution for gala dinners, receptions and major celebrations.

In total, the collection features 15 dedicated event venues and 30 meeting and breakout rooms, catering to everything from executive board meetings and incentive groups to international conferences and destination weddings.

Dining is also a key drawcard, with 15 restaurants spread across the portfolio, allowing event planners to create varied culinary experiences without the need for off-site transfers.

Signature venues include the Delos Ballroom at Royal Myconian, which can accommodate up to 600 guests, and the Sunset Terrace, where cocktail events for as many as 1,000 attendees are staged against panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.

The Myconian Collection says its dedicated events teams manage every stage of the planning process, from concept development and production through to guest logistics, helping deliver seamless experiences for organisers and attendees alike.

Accessibility remains another advantage, with Mykonos served by direct flights from major European and Middle Eastern hubs including London, Paris, Zurich, Munich, Doha and Abu Dhabi.

The Myconian Collection comprises 15 luxury hotels across Mykonos and includes properties affiliated with prestigious hospitality brands and associations such as Relais & Châteaux, Leading Hotels of the World, Design Hotels and The Set Collection.
